Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the Process Automation Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business teams and automation delivery. You’ll lead the discovery, redesign, and documentation of business processes—focusing on simplification, optimisation, and automation readiness using BPMN standards.
You’ll help shape future-state operations that are efficient and scalable. Leveraging cutting-edge tools from UiPath—including Task Mining, Process Mining, Automation Hub, and Agentic workflows (Autopilot)—you’ll identify and qualify high-impact automation opportunities.
Working closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure automation solutions are not only technically sound but also deliver measurable value to our customers and the business.

- Lead process discovery and redesign using BPMN standards.
- Identify and prioritise automation opportunities using tools like UiPath Task Mining, Process Mining, and Automation Hub.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business leaders to deliver scalable, high-impact automation solutions.
- Champion simplification and automation-first thinking across the business.
- Drive adoption of cutting-edge capabilities like Agentic workflows (Autopilot) and AI-powered automation.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- Proven experience in business analysis, process discovery, redesign, and requirements gathering.
- Proficiency in BPMN and modelling tools; knowledge of eTOM framework desirable.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications operations, customer journeys, and pain points.
- Familiarity with the UiPath ecosystem - Task Mining, Process Mining, Automation Hub, and Autopilot/Agentic capabilities.
- Ability to build robust business cases and quantify benefits of automation.
- Skilled in stakeholder workshops, requirement elicitation, and business engagement.
- Analytical mindset with ability to simplify and standardise processes.
- Commitment to staying current with automation, AI, and process optimisation trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
