Ko tō tūranga – your role

As Brand Activation Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing One NZ’s customer-facing events and sponsorship activations to life, supporting the delivery of experiences that connect customers with the One NZ brand. Working across event systems, ticketing, hospitality, guest management, merchandise, event assets and delivery processes, you will help turn agreed event plans into seamless, high-quality execution.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their marketing career who wants to gain hands-on experience across brand activations, events, sponsorships and customer experiences. You’ll work closely with internal teams, agencies, suppliers and partners to coordinate event delivery, keep things moving, resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve how events are delivered.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Coordinate the end-to-end operational delivery of assigned customer-facing and sponsorship events, including logistics, timelines, run sheets and operational requirements
  • Work closely with internal teams, agencies, suppliers and partners to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Manage ticketing, hospitality, guest allocation, tracking and reporting across the sponsorship portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve event processes, systems and ways of working
  • Support Enterprise and Business events, including logistics, attendee management and targeted communications
  • Manage event merchandise and branded assets, including allocation, distribution and tracking
  • Support budget administration, including purchase orders, invoice processing and cost tracking

  • A degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field, with a genuine interest in events, brand activation and customer experiences
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep things moving
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with a range of people, from internal teams to agencies, suppliers and partners
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to getting things done
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting when plans change
  • A curious and continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in finding better ways to do things
