Ko tō tūranga – your role
At One NZ, we are embarking on a large, complex, and exciting business and IT transformation. The deployment of integration solutions is fundamental to this process, making this role pivotal to our success.
As the Domain Architect - Integration, you will provide overall architecture and solution leadership for the Integration domain. Your role will involve translating business and technical requirements into integration solutions that align with best practices. Additionally, you will lead and govern solution design across the Integration ecosystem.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Domain accountabilities include all Integration capabilities (both on prem and cloud integration technologies including both legacy and cloud-based technologies)
- Owning the overall Architecture for your domain; acting as the authority and subject matter expert for all architecture matters for your domain across the organisation.
- Utilising Domain expertise to define/create current and future state technology roadmaps for change.
- Align tech roadmaps & solutions to business and technology strategies, ensuring strategic fit of & alignment with industry norms, best practices and frameworks eg: TMForum, TOGAF & ITIL
- Developing a robust method to model current and future state total cost of ownership (TCO) for your domain
- Work with vendors and partners to understand their technology and feature roadmaps – bring best of breed from external environment into One NZ.
- Identifies key architectural decisions to be made, and is able to lead a structured information gathering and decision-making process, that results in sound and robust decisions with stakeholder support and buy in. Can communicate these concisely. Supports or leads vendor or product selection processes using the same methodology.
- Ensuring robust solution design governance is in place for all designs that impact your domain, and that these solutions align to relevant standards, solution goals and roadmaps. Ensures design standards are achieved.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- Deep Integration technology expertise (10-15 years of design and implementation experience) across legacy and modern integration technologies
- Significant Architecture experience in the Telco BSS domain would be beneficial
- Deep expertise in product modelling, standards and reference architectures and data models (>5 years)
- Breadth of experience across Telco BSS, OSS, and Digital technologies would be beneficial
- Knowledge of software development and full technology stacks including application software, operating systems, infrastructure and database technologies.
- Experience with a variety of software programming languages
- Experienced working with various delivery methodologies including DevOps, SAFe and Waterfall
- Solid understanding and experience using the TM Forum and TOGAF frameworks
- Strong experience with systems integration and information security
- Strong experience with APIs and micro-services architecture
