Ko tō tūranga – your role

As Event Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing One NZ’s customer-facing events and sponsorship activations to life, ensuring every experience is delivered with precision, consistency and impact. Working across event systems, ticketing, hospitality, merchandise, assets and delivery processes, you will help create seamless, high-quality events that strengthen customer engagement and showcase the One NZ brand.

 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, stakeholder management and continuous improvement. Partnering across the business, agencies, suppliers and partners, you will keep delivery on track, spot opportunities to improve how events are run, and help lift the overall experience for customers, guests and internal teams.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing, sponsorship, business, enterprise and internal events
  • Coordinate across internal teams, agencies, suppliers and partners to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Manage ticketing, hospitality, guest allocation, tracking and reporting across the sponsorship portfolio
  • Act as the business SME for event systems and processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement
  • Support Enterprise and Business events, including logistics, attendee management and targeted communications
  • Manage event merchandise and branded assets, including allocation, distribution and tracking
  • Support budget administration, including purchase orders, invoice processing and cost tracking

  • Event operations, stakeholder management and coordination experience
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing demands
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in improving systems, processes and ways of working
