At One NZ, trust is everything. That’s why we’re looking for a Fraud Advisor who’s passionate about making a real difference. In this pivotal role, you’ll act as a guardian of integrity, working across the business to provide advice to key stakeholders, supporting them to build fraud controls into the many exciting initiatives we have underway.
You’ll be more than just an investigator — you’ll be a trusted advisor, a proactive partner, and a visible champion of ethical, compliant conduct. From providing expert guidance on new projects to driving improvements in fraud controls, your work will directly support a safer, more secure One NZ for everyone.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Develop a strong understanding of stakeholders and fraud risks, and maintain high visibility within the business.
- Advise on fraud prevention and control measures for new initiatives and existing processes and products
- Support business objectives by minimizing risk and regularly reviewing fraud indicators and data
- Conduct thorough, documented, and sensitive fraud investigations to protect One NZ’s reputation
- Collaborate on anti-fraud training, communications, and initiatives that enhance One NZ’s fraud management practices
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- Ability to build strong relationships and have influence with stakeholders across the organization
- Good understanding of digital technologies with working knowledge of current fraud risks in retail, sales and ideally the telecommunications industry
- Excellent communication skills – ability to carefully represent One NZ and enhance our reputation with customers and external stakeholders
- Ability and desire to work within a continually evolving environment, including leveraging the benefits of AI to uplift fraud prevention activity
- Confident speaking in front of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong sense of initiative and personal accountability to pursue priority matters with limited supervision
- Investigation skills – ability to determine and pursue all relevant lines of enquiry in a considered and thorough way
- Sound, reasoned judgement and a pragmatic, business-centric approach
- Highest levels of integrity and discretion
