Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll play a key part in helping the organisation achieve its marketing and business objectives by streamlining processes, enhancing campaign efficiency, and delivering personalised customer experiences at scale. You’ll be responsible for designing, executing, and optimising automated marketing campaigns across channels such as email, SMS, app, and web. Using data and performance insights, you’ll continuously refine strategies to maximise engagement and conversion.
Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll work closely with teams across marketing, customer experience, sales, customer service, and IT to ensure seamless integration of automation tools with existing platforms and alignment with broader business goals.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Continually identify opportunities to refine the execution of effective campaigns, new initiatives or products, promotions, etc.
- Pull together stakeholders from across E&C, Architecture, Finance and Data and co-ordinate their disparate needs.
- Define build logic across multi-platform campaigns.
- Review and improve campaign build plans.
- Support with delivery of zero error campaigns.
- Support with the execution and delivery of targeted direct marketing campaigns to drive against key cross-sell, upsell, retention and engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to design and build migration journey comms.
- Run and improve onboarding comms.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- A junior experience in marketing automation, ideally 1 to 2 years
- Project management skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing techniques
- Capability working in an omni-channel environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships across business and with external consultants / solutions providers
- Role modelling growth mind-set
- A good understanding of BTL marketing, campaign management and marketing automation platforms
