Ko tō tūranga – your role

The Modern Workplace EUC SME will play a key role within the Modern Workplace through developing, sustaining, and growing the Modern Workplace squad roadmap, supporting peers with new technology utilizing the organisations values. You will ensure One NZ staff can work effectively ‘always productive, always connected’ as individual or team. Provide strong endpoint management knowledge and skills (MDM/MAM), strong understanding and practical management of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating system within an enterprise environment, including application packaging and deployment.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

• Design and management of physical and virtual devices and workloads.
• Co-ordination of multiple workloads in s/w packaging and support.
• Maintain BAU standards generation, reporting and audit / compliance responsibilities.
• Excellence in Intune endpoint management for Windows devices and Mobile devices and the associate application development.
• Advantageous – Microsoft 365 Suite, DLP, Endpoint Security, Monitoring products, DevOps.
• The definition and management of policies applied to virtual and physical devices.
• Leading / coordinating the investigation to high severity incidents.

Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

• MDM device management and operations (Windows based devices).
• MAM device management and operations (Android/Apple endpoints).
• PowerShell skills including Graph API.
• Cloud Networking (Azure).
• AAD/AD, Identity principles in a Hybrid environment - preferred but not essential
• DevOps pipeline understanding and experience. – preferred but not essential
• Azure monitor / Log analytics (KQL) query capability for operations and investigations.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills upward and cascade to business.
• Be a self-starter, ability to learn on the fly and understand new concepts,
• Effective communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively
• Motivated individual driven to self-improvement.
