Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the National Security Manager at One New Zealand, you will lead the charge in managing and integrating physical and electronic security systems across our property portfolio.
This role involves strategic planning, implementation and support of various technologies to enhance the efficiency, security and sustainability of One NZ’s environments.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors and stakeholder to ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions within the built environment.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Management of all physical and electronic security systems within the One NZ property portfolio through planning, implementation and maintenance.
- Provide ongoing security training for aggressive customer de-escalation across the retail environment.
- Support the creation of business cases, financial planning and modelling for facilities/security initiatives.
- Management, progress tracking of security opex and capex projects managed by the Facilities team
- Management of vendor relationships to procure and implement hardware and necessary support models.
- Engaging, influencing and working well with the New Zealand Property, Security and Facilities Management community.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- 3 years+ in a similar role with experience with networked advanced security systems relating to electronic access control and CCTV, IDS and other physical security solutions relating retail security, site hardening and process implementation
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), and relationship management skills
- Proactive approach, strong organisation skills and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Confident navigating and delivering in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment
- Strong results orientation with a track record of achieving exceptional results, growth mindset
