Ko tō tūranga – your role
The purpose of this role, Risk & Compliance Analyst, is to help the business make better risk-based decisions through mature risk management activity, enhance the integrity and reputation of One NZ with key policy awareness, and reduce customer harm by investigating and preventing fraudulent incidents.
This role would suit a candidate at graduate level or with entry level Risk & compliance experience
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Increase Policy Champion engagement with respect to effective controls for policy compliance
- Maintain a current and easy to use Policy Portal. Coordinate annual policy reviews
- Work with colleagues to investigate and prevent fraudulent activity against the business and our customers
- Continuously engaging with key stakeholders to understand and respond to changes to their risk, compliance, or fraud support requirements
- Provide reporting and insights as required by the Privacy and Compliance team

- Bachelor’s Degree – high regard for Law or Finance
- Analysis skills – to interpret information and assess risk, compliance, and fraud metrics
- Attention to detail – error free reporting and analysis, ability to check own work and communicate insights
- Planning and coordination - able to understand sequencing and process steps involved to get from idea to outcome
- Stakeholder management – ability to effectively engage, influence and communicate with a broad cross-section of stakeholders.
- Preferred – qualification in risk, compliance, law, or business management
