Ko tō tūranga – your role
As a Sales Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of sales professionals, empowering them to succeed, developing their capabilities, and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue and long-term growth. You’ll be responsible for ensuring consistent, profitable sales growth by effectively planning, deploying, and managing sales resources.
In this role, you will set clear objectives, define strategies, and create action plans that drive both short-term and long-term sales success. Your leadership will foster a culture that delivers exceptional customer experiences, while continuously striving to exceed sales targets and business goals.

- Drive team performance by coaching and fostering a business-owner mindset, while providing support for sales efforts.
- Take ownership of financial results and overall team performance.
- Build and maintain long-term, strong customer relationships.
- Support business growth by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Plan and set quarterly team objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and provide regular performance reports.
- Lead and develop a customer-obsessed team, ensuring regular team meetings and effective performance management.
- Guide and support the team in daily sales operations, RFPs, and face-to-face customer engagement.

- Proven experience leading teams to achieve results through an empathetic, flexible, and supportive management style that drives performance.
- Strong commercial acumen and business insight.
- Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
- In-depth experience with core product sets, including connectivity and ICT.
- Ability to make rational, data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project planning and monitoring capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and persuasion skills.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience working successfully with sales teams.
- Expertise in B2B and complex solution selling.
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with CRM software for managing activities and tracking performance.
