Ko tō tūranga – your role
As Sales Manager – Enterprise, you will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth, build enduring customer relationships, and create exceptional customer experiences across One New Zealand’s Enterprise business. This is a leadership role with real impact, where you will combine coaching, commercial focus, and strategic planning to lift team performance, grow capability, and deliver strong short- and long-term business results.
You will be responsible for shaping a customer-obsessed, results-driven team culture, while empowering your people to succeed through clear direction, development, and support. This role is ideal for an inspiring sales leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, driving profitable growth, and making a visible contribution to both customer success and business performance.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Build and elevate team capability through hands-on coaching, ongoing support, and creating an environment where people feel empowered to think and act like business owners
- Lead team performance with clear direction and accountability, driving strong financial outcomes while setting a high bar for delivery and impact
- Develop and nurture authentic, long-term customer relationships that strengthen trust, deepen partnerships, and unlock sustainable growth opportunities
- Support business growth by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent and building a high-performing, engaged team
- Set clear quarterly objectives, track progress against key priorities, and provide regular insights on performance and outcomes to stakeholders
- Foster a customer-obsessed team culture through consistent rhythms, meaningful performance conversations, and a strong focus on continuous improvement

- Proven experience leading teams to deliver strong results, using an empathetic, flexible, and supportive leadership style that brings out the best in people
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business performance
- A strategic thinker who naturally looks for better ways of working and drives continuous improvement across people, process, and outcomes
- Experience working with core product sets across connectivity and ICT, with a solid understanding of how these solutions create value for customers
- A rational, considered decision maker who can navigate complexity and make sound judgement calls under pressure
- Highly effective at planning, prioritising, and monitoring projects to ensure delivery stays on track and outcomes are achieved
- Strong background in B2B and complex solution selling environments, with an understanding of longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Telecommunications industry experience is advantageous, but not essential—we value transferable skills and fresh perspectives
- Comfortable using CRM systems to track activity, manage pipelines, and generate insights that inform decision making
