As Salesforce Tech Lead – Platforms & Agentforce, you are responsible for shaping reliable, scalable Salesforce delivery across One New Zealand’s platform landscape.
This includes defining release governance, uplifting CI/CD capability, establishing environment strategy, and ensuring deployment stability across key components such as Agent Console, CPQ, Product Catalogue, and XOM/COM.
You will lead the design and enablement of Agentforce and Data Cloud capabilities to support smarter, more connected customer and operational experiences. Providing deep technical leadership across platform engineering and release design, you will work closely with squads and design authority to strengthen DevOps practices, improve release quality, and embed best‑practice ways of working.
The role also champions the thoughtful adoption of AI tooling to enhance delivery outcomes while maintaining governance, stability, and compliance.

- Drive DevOps design improvements such as branching strategy, reducing code divergence and improving parallel development stability.
- Design the uplift CI/CD and deployment approach (including improvements such as differential/delta deployments where applicable).
- Establish environment strategy and release readiness practices (sandbox alignment, release runbooks, rollback approach).
- Provide operational guardrails that connect release processes to platform hygiene (auditability and change evidence).
- Coordinate with platform design authority to ensure designs are deployable and non-functional requirements are treated as first-class.
- Coach squads on best practice release behaviours and adoption of standard tooling/processes.
- Seasonal release scope and assimilate new features into One NZ and regression impact
- Adopt A.I. tooling and facilitate the use of A.I. tools across ways of working
