Ko tō tūranga – your role
As our Scheduling Specialist, you’ll support daily rostering for our onshore frontline teams across voice, digital, and in-person channels. Working closely with the Senior Scheduling Specialist, you’ll help ensure the right coverage and look for ways to simplify or automate processes.
You’ll need to be detail-focused, organised, and calm under pressure—bringing clear communication and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Manage and maintain workforce schedules to meet daily and weekly operational needs, ensuring compliance with NZ labour laws and company policies.
- Prioritise and manage incoming work through shared inboxes and email communications.
- Identify and recommend improvements to scheduling processes to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Provide regular reports to stakeholders on workforce utilisation, scheduling adherence, overtime, and absenteeism.
- Support clear, timely communication of schedules to frontline teams, ensuring they have sufficient lead time.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in workforce scheduling, management, or a similar role
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to analyse data and make informed, outcome-focused decisions
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume scheduling environment
- Solid understanding of NZ labour laws and compliance requirements
