Ko tō tūranga – your role

As our Scheduling Specialist, you’ll support daily rostering for our frontline retail teams across voice, digital, and in-person channels. Working closely with the Senior Scheduling Specialist, you’ll help ensure the right coverage across our trading hours and look for ways to simplify or automate processes.

 

You’ll need to be detail-focused, organised, and calm under pressure—bringing clear communication and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

 

*This is a 12 month fixed term position*

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Manage and maintain workforce schedules to meet daily and weekly operational needs, ensuring compliance with NZ labour laws and company policies.
  • Prioritise and manage incoming work through shared inboxes and email communications.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to scheduling processes to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on workforce utilisation, scheduling adherence, overtime, and absenteeism.
  • Support clear, timely communication of schedules to frontline teams, ensuring they have sufficient lead time.

Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in workforce scheduling, management, or a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed, outcome-focused decisions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume scheduling environment
  • Solid understanding of NZ labour laws and compliance requirements
