Ko tō tūranga – your role

As a Snior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic growth plans that align with our strategy.

 

You will act as a crucial link between our innovative solutions and the enterprise clients, partnering closely with them to optimise their operations and achieve their business goals.

 

Your strategic insights and market knowledge will shape our approach to the enterprise segment and long-term growth plans, ensuring we remain competitive and responsive to market demands, and deliver measurable growth by securing high-value contracts with enterprise clients, directly contributing to our revenue and margin targets and market expansion strategy.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Prospect for new business and maintain a visible pipeline (3:1) within the CRM systems of this activity.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Enterprise Business Segment.
  • Follow up on sales leads to ensure opportunities are fully qualified and all potential customers are contacted to ascertain their telecommunications and ICT requirements.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals that contribute to the company's long-term success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Work alongside the Account Managers to ensure customers are effectively handed off in accordance with defined timeframes and processes.
  • Work alongside the Account Managers to identify opportunities within the allocated portfolios.
  • Provide strategic insights and market feedback to inform product development and strategic planning.

  • Proven and demonstrable business development experience within Enterprise Segment (Telco/ digital and emerging solutions is preferred).
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that drive business growth.
  • Exceptional customer and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Exceptional influencing and networking skills to C suite level within Enterprise organisations
  • Demonstrable commercial skills with knowledge of the NZ Enterprise segment sector and market place
  • Strong understanding of the Telecommunications & ICT industry, products, services, and trends
  • Exceptional business case development and evaluation skills including financial analysis, business planning and evaluation.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, ability to write proposals and presentations.
  • Strong negotiation skills
