Ko tō tūranga – your role

The Senior Finance Analyst will support the Finance business partner by delivering financial support, analysis and recommendations to drive commercial business decisions that value steers the business unit to achieve our financial targets while managing business risks.  

 

The role will take responsibility for the Acquisition and Retention spend across all product and business segments and manage the Terminals P&L to deliver Revenue, EBITDA and Cash outcomes for One New Zealand.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Financial analysis and planning
  • Own rolling forecast build and assumptions
  • Build and improve A&R accuracy and reporting
  • Strategic finance leadership
  • Stakeholder management/influence
  • Commercial decision making and support
  • Provision of performance insights, commentary and clear recommendations
  • Support transformation programme through timely decision support / benefit validation
  • Work with the treasury manager to deliver IFP Receivable Sale and cash management as required

Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in developing and executing strategy.
  • Strong background in financial analysis and forecasting along with driving profitable performance.
  • Experience in pricing and decision making support.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships and influence at senior levels.
  • Previous Telco experience preferred.
  • Experienced Chartered Accountant, CFA, Economist or similar.
  • Must have relevant financial management experience.
