Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the Systems & Domain Specialist, your role is to provide technical, configuration, and operational expertise within an assigned enterprise systems domain. The role ensures vendor-delivered build aligns with approved functional design and maintains system stability, data integrity, and user confidence, while supporting continuous improvement.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Provide functional troubleshooting and operational support across assigned systems
- Translate functional requirements into detailed configuration guidance for vendors.
- Review and validate vendor-delivered configuration accuracy.
- Support configuration changes, regression testing, and release cycles
- Develop and execute test scripts.
- Validate that delivered build aligns with approved functional design.
- Document configuration impacts and release outcomes.
- Monitor and analyse system data to identify accuracy issues, trends, and potential risks
- Maintain data integrity within assigned scope.
- Support refinement of data quality processes where required.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, make recommendations and create AI prototypes (where applicable). Deliver timely reporting and analytics to support stakeholder decision-making.
- Conduct backlog and planning workshops through regular established sprint cadences with key stakeholders.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms within a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of business processes in Procurement and/or Supply Chain and Logistics
- Experience of AI workflows and automation
- Experience working with vendors and system integrators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability.
- Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities concurrently.
- Experience supporting system integrations and data flows would a nice to have.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and change/release processes would be a bonus.
- Experience in audit, compliance, or regulated environments would be an advantage.
