As a Customer Champion Consultant in our Small Business Sales Team, you’ll play an essential role in helping local small business customers stay connected—offering expert advice and tailored solutions that make a real difference to their operations and growth.
Based in our Ward Street, Hamilton Retail Store, you’ll support customers through inbound and outbound phone and messaging channels, with a focus on Join and Leave intents for Mobile and Broadband campaigns. You’ll be the trusted advisor our small business customers rely on, delivering exceptional experiences while driving strong sales outcomes.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Manage One New Zealand's unmanaged business customer base, delivering exceptional service through outbound calling and campaign execution.
- Improve product sales through cross-selling into new products, achieved through high presentation rates.
- Serve our customers through exceptional experiences, solving issues seamlessly and meeting their business needs so they remain a valued customer of One New Zealand.
- Extend the customer lifetime value through upgrades of devices and accessories.
- Work as part of a critical team with strong communication and the ability to execute against marketing activity.

- Relevant experience in Sales and Customer Service, with a sales-driven approach and a customer-first mindset that balances commercial outcomes with exceptional service.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to engage effectively, understand customer needs, and build strong rapport.
- Confidence using digital platforms and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
- Demonstrates strong business acumen.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing customer needs and dynamic environments
- Ability to manage multiple customer interactions across platforms, maintaining focus, accuracy, and responsiveness in a dynamic environment.
