As a Customer Champion Representative in our Consumer Sales team, you’ll play an essential role in helping customers stay connected—offering expert advice and tailored solutions that make a real difference. Based in our Ward Street, Hamilton Retail Store, you’ll support customers through inbound phone and messaging channels, focusing on Join and Leave intents for Mobile and Broadband.

 

You’ll be the trusted advisor our customers rely on, delivering exceptional experiences while driving strong sales outcomes. Join our awesome frontline contact centre whānau at One NZ, where your passion for people and problem-solving will shine every day.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

 

  • Respond to customer enquiries across Mobile and Broadband Join/Leave requests via calls and messages, delivering a great onboarding experience for our customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and retain customers.
  • Manage customer conversations seamlessly across voice and messaging platforms to ensure efficient and consistent support.
  • Ensure customer context is accurately understood and localised through geo-routing to deliver relevant and personalised support.
  • Provide thorough resolution and maintain accurate customer records to ensure continuity and quality of service.

  • Relevant experience in Sales and Customer Service, with a sales-driven approach and a customer-first mindset that balances commercial outcomes with exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to engage effectively, understand customer needs, and build strong rapport.
  • Confidence using digital platforms and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing customer needs and dynamic environments
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions across platforms, maintaining focus, accuracy, and responsiveness in a dynamic environment.
