Ko tō tūranga – your role
As a Field Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the customer experience and sales performance of our Channel Partner Retail stores within the Lower North Island (Wellington, Palmerston North, New Plymouth) region. You will oversee sales of Pay Monthly, Prepay, and other products and services, acting as the main point of contact at One NZ for third-party resellers.
This dynamic role involves traveling across the Lower North Island Region, serving as an expert on our products and services, and ensuring our partners receive exceptional customer experiences. Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Lead a customer-obsessed culture through highly engaged retail staff, managers, and regional managers, driving continuous improvement in customer experience.
- Deliver sales performance targets across all metrics and identify and address performance gaps.
- Work autonomously while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and understanding regional trends.
- Establish and maintain a knowledge base for retail staff, confidently leading group sessions that engage, motivate, and deploy training and sales tools.
- Support One NZ GTM teams to leverage opportunities and be the go-to partner of choice for our partner channels.

- Proven sales experience with a strong track record and excellent selling skills, including comprehensive product knowledge of the One NZ suite.
- Confident communicator capable of influencing, leading, training, and presenting effectively.
- Skilled in managing numerous stakeholder relationships, with proven time management and planning abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with attention to detail and the ability to write business letters and emails competently.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, autonomous worker with a valid driving license.
