Ko tō tūranga – your role
As Regional Account Manager, you will play a key role in growing One New Zealand’s presence across the Nelson region by strengthening relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities. Managing a portfolio of business customers of approximately 20 to 500 FTE, you will focus on maximising revenue, deepening customer engagement, and creating long-term value through trusted partnerships.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the market, building strong local connections, and helping businesses unlock growth through smart technology and connectivity solutions.
You will work closely with customers to understand their goals, identify opportunities across mobile, fixed, and ICT solutions, and position One New Zealand as a trusted digital partner of choice. Success in this role comes from combining strong relationship management with commercial drive, solution-selling capability, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Grow revenue across an existing customer portfolio by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities
- Build a strong understanding of customer goals and identify technology solutions that support innovation and business growth
- Develop and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships that enhance customer experience and improve commercial outcomes
- Lead sales opportunities from prospecting through to close across mobile, fixed, and ICT solutions
- Strengthen market presence through networking, referrals, partner relationships, and engagement with key business communities
- Build long-term customer relationships that drive loyalty, retention, and sustainable growth
- Work collaboratively and proactively with team members to achieve shared goals
- Provide clear and accurate reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer growth opportunities

- Strong ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Commercially driven, with a proven track record of delivering strong results and making sound decisions
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions that support growth and digital transformation
- High attention to detail, with strong written communication, planning, and reporting skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative and drive to deliver outcomes at pace
- Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Proven experience in account management or a similar customer-facing commercial role
- Telecommunications or technology industry experience preferred, but not essential
- Strong solution-selling experience across multiple markets and channels
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activity, opportunities, and pipeline
