Reporting to an Area Lead, as the Store Manager you will provide day-to-day leadership and performance coaching to our Customer Champions to deliver a world class experience to our customers and staff. We have ambitious plans to invest in our people, systems and ways of working to create an omni-channel organisation that delivers unparalleled customer and commercial outcomes.

 

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

 

  • Take accountability and ownership for the operational running of the store
  • Lead a team of Customer Champions and a Floor Lead
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate hiring processes and generate staff rosters
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience is delivered in our retail environment i.e., creating an engaging process where customer needs are met or exceeded
  • Monitor and deliver store KPIs and targets. Motivate team members to hit their target with guidance given through 1:1s and ongoing mentoring and coaching
  • Foster a ‘customer obsessed’ culture within the team

  • Natural people leadership skills with the ability to build a highly engaged and collaborative team. 
  • The ability to navigate conflict in high-pressure situations
  • A flexible & open attitude, driven to help the customer as a priority
  • Experience of successfully working towards KPIs with the ability to drive others with their targets 
  • Comfortable working a roster including weekend days 
  • Strong people and growth orientation. A desire to support people to be better than they thought possible
  • Min. 2 years of operational experience a Retail Sales environment. A strong understanding of Retail operations and processes with the ability to improve processes where needed
