Ko tō tūranga – your role

As the Systems Analyst & Developer your role is to manage and maintain One NZ's application landscape, ensuring our enterprise systems are reliable, secure, and high performing. You'll be responsible for supporting the full application lifecycle—from solution design and software development through to deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement—ensuring systems underpin business performance and customer outcomes.

  • Manage enterprise software deployment and implementation projects.
  • Design and architect modern software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop technology roadmaps for enterprise software products.
  • Contribute to solution architecture and high-level technical designs.
  • Produce detailed design documentation, implementation plans, and test strategies.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, team leaders, and system administrators.
  • Support, maintain, and continuously improve existing business applications.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) solutions.
  • Respond to business requests and technical issues with a strong customer focus.
  • Apply industry best practice across software design, development, and delivery.
  • Participate in technology initiatives, training, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Strong understanding of application architecture, software delivery, and implementation.
  • Experience producing technical designs, documentation, and testing plans.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.
