Ko tō tūranga – your role

As the Security Compliance Consultant, your role is to be responsible for supporting product security compliance and assurance within the One NZ Enterprise team, ensuring alignment with commercially agreed NZTA customer requirements. This role requires collaboration across the Enterprise team as well as with product, commercial, technical operations, and security departments to deliver on product compliance and assurance objectives for our customers.

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

  • Manage and contribute to the Product Security Compliance and Assurance audit deliverables for NZTA (audit report, technical test report, Security Risk Management Plan)
  • Participate in the Security Assurance Plan activities, including reviewing evidence and tracking remediation progress.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet Product security Compliance and Assurance audit report requirements.
  • Liaise with NZTA and other customers on audit scope and delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to the Product Security Compliance and Assurance process and documentation.
  • Participate in Product security governance meetings with NZTA and other customers.
  • Offer expert support and guidance to Enterprise clients to ensure compliance

  • Knowledge of IT systems and their integration with databases, networks, data centres, and hardware.
  • Understanding and implementing IT security controls.
  • Knowledge of auditing, testing, and implementing remediation plans for IT security controls
  • Familiarity with IT security frameworks such as NZISM, SOC2 Type, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Previous experience at large consulting companies would be beneficial
