Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the Technical Compliance Lead, you will drive and oversee multiple compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with relevant technical standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
This role suits someone with a strong grasp of technical compliance frameworks and hands-on experience in managed network environments and/or security administration. Your expertise will help shape a robust compliance culture and support operational excellence across the organization.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Oversee daily compliance across device configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks in collaboration with the Enterprise Systems Manager.
- Track and analyze compliance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and technical compliance documentation.
- Provide training and mentorship to the Enterprise DevOps team.
- Support annual assurance activities, including evidence collection and meeting participation.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Relevant qualification / experience in Information Security Management, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR or NZISM.
- Regulatory compliance, risk assessment and data security experience.
- Experience in managed network and security services is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understood.
